Greenhouses Energy /Shading Heating Systems GREENHOUSE CONSTRUCTION BOM ‘s greenhouses are designed for optimum growing conditions, maximizing light and climate control. There are many layout options available for bay widths (3.2m. 4.0m and 4.5m, and for section sizes (4.5m and 5.0m). Greenhouse heights are variable up to 5.0 gutter heights.	Typical greenhouse configuration comprises a 4.0m bay x 5.0m section and a 4.5m high gutter height. BOM has pioneered and led the market with, the now standard, aluminum gutter designs, which has many advantages such as excellent resistance to torsional movement, reduced condensation, built in condensate collection system and tighter glazing details. Roof vents are available in 2 or 3-pane configurations. A unique feature available with a BOM greenhouse is the wide-open roof vent design allowing 68-degree openings (as compared to the typical 44-degree openings, for improved ventilation.

ENERGY/SHADING SYSTEMS BOM's screening division produces screening/shading systems, and has been at the vanguard of this industry since these systems were first introduced about 20 years ago. BOM has introduced several very innovative solutions to screening/shading systems, such as the continuous looped cable ABS System, which yields better operational control, less wear and tear, and consequently a lower cost. HEATING SYSTEMS Full in-house design and supply and installations of heating, CO2, heat storage and control systems are available through the BOM - BuildWorks team.
